Strong's Number H8811

Imperfect
The imperfect mood expresses an action, process or condition which is incomplete, and it has a wide range of meaning.
It is used of a single action in past narrative, presenting it vividly and pictorially as a process rather than a bare fact; of repeated or continuous action, habitual or ongoing, in past or present time; of the future, of an action about to be accomplished but not yet begun; in conditional expressions; and in clauses of transition, purpose and result.
